And I had a great time too. Staying in Manhattan is always a great experience with so much to see and do. I finally got to see the American Museum of Natural History which has one of the worlds best collections of antiquities. I’ve always loved history and the dinosaur skeleton displays were very cool. I finally saw a T. Rex!

I was also witness to the grand opening of Justin Timberlake’s new restaurant called Southern Hospitality on 2nd Ave. Complete with red carpet, celebrity limo arrivals, paparazzi, and a lot of his screaming female fans. I was even there for the steam pipe explosion last week and in fact walked down that very street near Grand Central Station just the night before. That’s almost a close call!

Now I’m ready and anxious to get back to work. I still have a few things to do on the website makeover, I’ll be tweaking it in the coming weeks, what do you think so far? Let me know if you spot any problems, errors or broken links! Running the entire site in Wordpress will certainly simplify the next redesign. You just can’t beat Wordpress for useability!

I was happy to see that I had several orders and inquirys in my inbox while I was away, now I get to roll up my sleeves and start writing!

Thanks for stopping by and please leave a comment to say hello! I’m friendly and I won’t bite! I promise! =)

Well people, I’ll be away on vacation for the next 2 weeks or so! When I return I’ll be accepting work again and looking forward to it too! So if you’ve been waiting, this is a heads up to get your order in pretty soon before I get backlogged again.

I’m really looking forward to this trip, I’ll be flying to Texas to meet my best friend and from there we’ll be driving 1,500 miles to Manhattan, NY. We’ll be stopping along the way to meet a couple of blogging friends. How cool is that? Once there I’ll get to stay for a few days and do some exploring, hanging out, dining out, and maybe a little shopping. I love NY, it’s always a great visit, there’s so much to do!

Anyway, see you guys when I get back! Try not to miss me too much! LOL

Welcome to Blogs Gone Wild! the blog! I’ve finally transferred the entire site over to run in Wordpress, something that I’ve been meaning to do for a long time actually. I’ve just been too busy with orders to do anything about it! That’s a good thing though! Being busy means the site has been successful and I couldn’t be happier. And, it couldn’t have been done without the amazing blogging community support I’ve received the past couple of years. Many thanks go out to all my wonderful customers, friends and acquaintances.

I never dreamed the site would do so well when I first started out. It all began as a hobby and a way to keep myself busy while I was ill and waiting for a transplant. I knew I would have to learn a new skill to get my life back together. I also learned that I never wanted to return to my former occupation as an automotive computer technician. What started out as a part-time income to help pay my huge medical bills became a full-time job and a great learning experience. I quickly found out that I loved doing it, which isn’t surprising really, considering my background in other artistic endeavors thru the years. And now that my health is fully recovered it’s become a career.

Even though I had quite a few years experience doing web work, I was very fortunate to have landed a college grant to learn how to write web code better and draw website layouts. Although I learned a lot during schooling, I find that I learn something new virtually everyday. That of course, keeps it interesting! I love learning new things and ways to do my work better. In case you aren’t aware, this website and all the work that comes out of it is a one person operation. I don’t have any partners or assistants, nor do I farm out any of the work.

I’ll be using this page for news and updates on what’s going on with BGW so check back, and thanks again for all your support!!
